General tips on using the site

Internet Browsers
For the best experience, community members users will need to have Microsoft Internet Explorer 7+ or Firefox 3+. Old browsers like Internet Explorer 6 are now unsupported by Microsoft and some elements of the ON2net may not display properly.

Your profile
• PASSWORDS - Always use a minimum of six characters including a mixture of letters and numbers
• YOUR PROFILE – So that your other community members get to know you better, it would be great if you could fully complete your Personal Profile including posting a photo

Getting started

'The more you put in the more you’ll get out'. This old saying still holds true. This community is all about you so we encourage you to be an active member, reading the news stories, sharing your views in the Forums and submitting site content.

Top things you need to know

Teams – on the homepage you will see a list of the Teams you are a member of. Click through to access the Team Profile and TeamSpace area.
TeamSpace – each Team has its own Team space where you can see and access all the latest information relating to your team – discussions, resources, files events.
Rating content really helps others – when reading a new story make sure you click on the Star rating area and rate the story from 1 to 5 stars. This will help others know what the best content is.
Forums are your voice – Start or join in a conversation, give advice to others, ask for assistance, share best practice! See the ‘Forum Help’ information in the General Discussion area of Forums.
Referring content to others - Use the 'Share This' link to share page content with others.
Search – here you can find all the information the site holds on a particular subject. Enter the keyword you after then select whether you want to search Articles & Files, Events, Forums, News & Stories or find other Community Members. Results will include all general community information and that specific to your team.
Sharing stuff – Use the Sharestuff function to submit content you think would be of interest to the community
Change your profile – To change your profile (personal info, photo, password etc) simply click on ‘My Settings’ under your photo at the top right of every page.
